Hit moss problems for six with two great new products Batimoss CR and Batiface

FROM the DJ Turfcare stable of specialist products for the grounds care industry come two new products to eliminate moss from hard surfaces.

Already renowned for their ground-breaking introduction of MO Bacter, the organic slow-release fertiliser which also eliminates moss from lawns, DJ Turfcare has become distributor for two highly efficient products called Batimoss CR and Batiface.

Batimoss CR

Batimoss CR is a biodegradable solution for removing moss, lichen and algae from all surfaces, including delicate and painted areas.

It’s an ideal moss and algae killer for use on roofs, walls, patio slabs and driveways. Also ideal to kill and prevent moss and algae on tennis courts, hard surfaces, play areas and artificial turf.

Batimoss CR is applied by spray and acts over a period of a few days. No rinsing is required, so that its fungicide action will continue preventing further re-growth.

Only one application is usually necessary, but it will help if any very heavy growth is removed before application so that it can be absorbed by the roots. It is diluted one part with four parts water. One litre will cover 30 square metres if applied by spray. Batimoss can be applied using a watering can with a very fine rose.

Batiface is a powerful solution for quickly removing moss, lichen and algae and renovating most surfaces such as tarmac to 'as new' within minutes. This product is ideal for removing slippery moss on paths and hard surfaces.

Batiface is applied by spray and will work within just a few hours before rinsing with water using a hose or small power washer. One litre will cover approx six square metres if used pure on heavily infected areas. It can also be diluted 50:50 with water to cover 12 square metres for normal use. During use wear protective gloves and glasses.
