Alko's 32VLE 1000w lawnraker and scarifier is a dual purpose machine that not only scarifies your lawn, but also gives you the additional lawn rake for a less aggressive work.

The scarifiying cassette is best used in the Spring and Autumn where the build up of organic material like moss, stifles grass growth. To keep your lawn healthy during the growing season, you can change the cassette for the lawnrake which gives a less aggressive action as it tickles the surface of the lawn and helps clear out any dead grass and foliage keeping your lawn looking healthy.

Alko Scarifiying Cassette

Alko's scarifying cassette has 12 / 14 hardened steel blades and is easily interchangeable with the lawnraking cassette.

This cassette is best used in the spring and autumn when the lawn requires a more aggressive scarification removing tough organic matter like moss.

Alko Lawn Raker Cassette

The lawnraker cassette is fully interchangeable and can be used during the growing months to help clear some lighter organic growth and lift the grass leaf making it stand up prior to mowing.

Alko 32 VLE Height Adjuster

Ensuring you have the right height really is imperative for good scarifying performance. Too deep can make your lawn very bear and too high won't get all the organic matter out from the soil. The height adjust on the Alko 32 VLE is a simple 5 step patented design helping you achieve the desired level for your lawn.

Mot only that, there is also an optical display (just to the right of the height adjuster) that indicates whether you have fitted either the scarifying or lawn raking cassette securely.
